About the role
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Microsoft Azure, cloud platforms, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data integration.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Build and manage cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Work with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure
- SQL.
- Extract, transform, clean, and load data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Integrate data from APIs, applications, databases, and external systems.
- Develop data models and optimize SQL queries for performance.
- Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and governance processes.
- Automate data-processing workflows and repetitive tasks.
- Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, BI teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and cloud solutions
What you’ll bring
- Strong SQL and database skills.
- Good programming experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, or Azure SQL.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Git/version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering,
- Information Technology, or a related field.
