About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to analyze business data, develop dashboards and reports, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in SQL, Power BI,, data visualization, Microsoft Azure, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
What you’ll do
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Connect Power BI with cloud and database sources, including Microsoft Azure.
- Work with data stored in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake.
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze business data.
- Develop and monitor business KPIs and performance metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc analytical reports.
- Automate manual reporting and data-analysis processes.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data availability and quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Present analytical findings and insights to management.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of dashboards and reports.
What you’ll bring
- Strong SQL skills.
- Advanced Custom Dashoards.
- Strong experience with Power BI and DAX.
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data environments.
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, or Azure Data Lake.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL concepts.
- Basic Python is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics,
- Finance, or a related field
